Frequently asked questions

How does this all work?

What if I just want to share some of my writing but don't have a manuscript?

If you want to share 15-20 pages of various writing for feedback each time, that's great! The goal is to get you writing and exploring!

Does my manuscript have to be finished?

No, not at all. In fact, Kristine can help you figure out where you want to go with it or suggestions for moving forward.

Do I send my entire book?

No. You will send 15-20 pages at a time and Kristine will provide feedback on those pages. Every two weeks, you'll meet with her over Zoom to go over the suggestions and discuss the manuscript. Since the mentorship lasts 8 weeks, you could receive up to 80 pages worth of feedback.

Will Kristine edit my book as well?

Kristine will put line edits as she reads, but will not do a full final edit as that is something that takes place after a book is completed. If a full final edit is something you are interested in, you can inquire about Kristine's availability.

What if I miss getting a submission in for feedback?

Life happens. You can work out a plan with Kristine to meet your needs. The mentorship meet-ups are flexible base on you and Kristine's schedule.

"When I arrived at one of Kristine's workshops, I knew I was in good hands. She was well-prepared, friendly and competent. She created an environment where we felt comfortable our thoughts and words. I had the opportunity to work on a scene that deepened my story through the use of tension and meaningful conflict as taught in her workshop.
